Research Officer in Behavioural Science (2 posts)

 

 

Salary from £36,647 to £44,140 pa inclusive with potential to progress to £47,456 pa pro-rata inclusive of London allowance

 

These are fixed term, part-time appointments for 20 hours per week for 1 year

 

 

The Inclusion Initiative (TII) is an exciting new research unit, based in the Department of Psychological and Behavioural Science, which leverages behavioural science insights to advance understanding of the factors that enhance inclusion at work.  Officially launching in November 2020, TII will build an open source research repository that houses rigorous and relevant research related to inclusion at work, in the financial and professional services and beyond.

 

We are now looking to recruit two outstanding individuals to the role of Research Officer. Working under the guidance of Dr Grace Lordan, TII’s director, you will make a key contribution to advancing TII’s research agenda through the development and execution of research projects and engagement with internal and external stakeholders.

 

You will have, or be working towards the completion of, an MSc in behavioural science or a related discipline, and have research interests in the inclusion of workers within firms and causal inference.  You should have a track record of planning and execute research and be skilled in quantitative analysis. You will have the ability to author/co-author papers of refereed journal article quality, the ability to present research findings to a variety of academic and non-academic audiences and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
