Salary from £37,197 to £44,802 pa inclusive of London allowance with potential to progress to £48,168 pa inclusive of London allowance

 

 

The LSE Eden Centre brings together educational, technological and developmental expertise in the School to support the development of academic staff and enable curriculum enrichment and digital innovation across the School. Eden Centre staff work with academic and professional services colleagues across the School and in partnership with students to enhance research-rich education in line with the priorities of the School’s LSE 2030 Strategy and its ‘Education for Global Impact’ strand.

 

We are recruiting to a Learning Technologist position based in the Digital Education team in the Eden Centre. This post will support the integration of technology into teaching, learning and assessment at the School. The post holder will work collaboratively with Eden Centre team members, academic staff and other professional services colleagues to help deliver the ambitions of the LSE2030 Strategy and support the on-going Learning Technology provision of the institution. They will work with academic departments and individuals to enhance learning and teaching through the use of technology at a course and programme level in face-to-face, blended or distance learning environments.

 

The successful candidate will have either an undergraduate qualification in a learning technology-related area or significant experience in a learning technology related role. They will have experience in supporting and enhancing teaching, learning and assessment with technology, including at a curriculum and/or delivery level in face to face or distance learning settings and of working with a variety of learning technologies including VLEs (preferably Moodle). They will also have excellent communication skills and the ability to plan and organise your own work, and the work of others across a range of projects in order to meet deadlines.
