LSE Fellow

 

Salary from £43,277 to £51,714 pa inclusive,

with potential to progress to £55,497 pa, inclusive of London allowance.

 

This is a career development position and is fixed term for two years.

 

The Department of Mathematics at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) seeks to appoint an LSE Fellow with expertise in a subject area related to Discrete Mathematics.

 

You will contribute to the intellectual life of the School through conducting and publishing outstanding quality research, engaging in high quality teaching as instructed by the Head of Department, and participating in the wider School and Department activities.

 

You should have:

·         completed, or be close to completing, a PhD related to discrete mathematics by the post start date;

·         a developing, competitive research record in discrete mathematics, and a clear and viable strategy for future research;

·         excellent communication and presentation skills;

·         the ability to work in close partnership with fellow teachers and professional services colleagues;

·         the ability to foster an engaging and supportive learning environment; and

·         a commitment to equality and diversity.
