Marketing Officer (Summer School)

Salary: £31,029 - £35,635 with potential to progress to £38,283 per annum inclusive of London allowance

We’re seeking an ambitious, commercially driven Marketing Officer to execute innovative and effective marketing campaigns aimed at driving student enrolment for the LSE’s world-renowned Summer School – the largest international programme of its kind. If you are a proactive marketing professional with experience working on campaigns using the full marketing mix, this is the role for you.

This exciting role will form part of our small but dynamic Summer School marketing team. In particular, the post holder will focus on:

  • Content creation, with a focus on producing high quality copy
  • Roll-out of media plans, including managing the creation of assets
  • Implementation of our social media, web and email strategies
  • Working closely with the recruitment team to support them with marketing materials
  • Liaising with a range of stakeholders including LSE academics, professional staff from around the School and external agencies and freelancers.

The Summer School team is part of the Extended Education division, a highly successful and commercially focused division that delivers LSE’s open enrolment short courses, online courses, and distance learning degree programmes to a range of audiences, spanning from new undergraduates to senior working professionals.

Our programmes provide a significant revenue source for the school, generating critical funds to invest in LSE’s world-leading teaching and research. We operate in increasingly competitive markets and have ambitious targets for growth.

We offer an occupational pension scheme, generous annual leave and excellent training and development opportunities. This is a campus-based role and the successful candidate will be required to be in the office four days a week (not withstanding government COVID-19 guidelines).
