Alumni Relations Assistant

 

Salary is competitive and not less than £24,491 pa inclusive (pro rata)

 

The London School of Economics and Political Science is looking to recruit an Alumni Relations Assistant to work within the LSE Advancement team. The Alumni Relations Assistant plays a key role in supporting the School’s alumni engagement programme.

 

Main responsibilities in this role will include assisting the Alumni Relations team and other members of LSE Advancement staff in communicating with alumni via telephone, face-to-face, email and post, providing administrative support to the Alumni Relations team, and responding quickly and in a helpful manner to queries from alumni. The post-holder will also be expected to maintain and develop content on the LSE alumni website, and to engage with alumni and other stakeholders as a key part of the role.

 

The successful candidate will have good IT skills, particularly in MS Office and administrative experience within a busy environment. Excellent customer service experience, oral and written communication skills are essential, as well as the ability to deal with a range of tasks and deadlines. Experience in event organisation would be desirable. The post-holder will be expected to attend alumni events that may take place during the evening or at weekends and for which time off in lieu will be given.
