Communications and Events Officer

 

Salary from £30,029 to £34,487 pa inclusive with potential to progress to £37,050 pa inclusive

 

 

 

The Department of Geography & Environment is seeking to appoint a highly motivated individual to this communications and events role who has the skills and initiative to actively promote the Department’s activities to external and internal stakeholders.

 

You will have at least two years’ experience in a communications and/or events-related role, including experience of organising and planning events, a track record of managing and producing high-quality web content, plus experience of developing and maintaining social networking channels.   

 

The candidate must demonstrate an ability to work proactively and be able to create promotional materials and publicity campaigns for both internal and external audiences.
