LSE Fellow in EU Politics


Salary is competitive and not less than £34,156 pa (pro rata)

 

This is a fixed term appointment from 1 September 2017 to 31 August 2018 at 0.75FTE

 

LSE’s European Institute teaches and researches processes of integration and fragmentation within Europe. Its research has been ranked first in the UK in last two national research exercises.

 

The successful candidate will teach on the MSc in EU Politics, for example EU421 (Policy-Making in the European Union) and/or EU435 (History and Theory of European Integration) and/or EU458 (Identity, Community and the ‘Problem of Minorities’) and may contribute to our professional skills programme. You will act as Academic Adviser to EU Politics students, undertake exam marking, provide some research assistance and also perform such administrative duties as required by the Head of the European Institute.

 

You will have an emerging record of teaching and research in EU politics and you will have a completed or nearly completed PhD in a relevant subject by 1 June 2017. You will also possess excellent written and oral communication skills and offer a commitment to high quality teaching and fostering a positive learning environment for students.
