REF Support Manager

 

Salary from £35,432 to £42,860 pa inclusive with potential to progress to £46,117 pa inclusive of London allowance

 

This is a fixed term appointment for 2 years

 

LSE is a world-leading university specialising in teaching and research in the social sciences, with a diverse international student and staff body and a global reputation for academic excellence.  We are seeking to recruit a full time, fixed term, REF Support Manager to support individual academics, departments and the whole School to produce the highest possible quality submission to the 2021 Research Excellence Framework (REF2021) exercise.

 

The post-holder will play a vital part helping LSE in all aspects of the School’s REF2021 submission.  This will include servicing and advising the REF Strategy Committee and assisting in the development and maintenance of the REF module in the School’s current research information system (Pure). 

 

Candidates should have excellent understanding of the REF, experience of working with academics in a higher education setting and experience of using a current research information system.  Excellent communication, planning and problem solving will also be required.
