Project Coordinator, Big Data for Better Outcomes

 

Salary from £34,736 to £42,019 pa inclusive with potential to progress to £45,212 pa inclusive

 

 

This is a full time, fixed term appointment until 31st January 2019, with possible extension contingent on funding.

 

LSE Health is an interdisciplinary research centre at the London School of Economics and Political Science. It offers a dynamic research environment for internationally excellent health policy, health economics, and health systems research.

 

This appointment offers an exciting opportunity to work at the core of the Innovative Medicines Initiative’s “Big Data for Better Outcomes” programme. Together with the project team the Project Coordinator will develop and drive the strategy of the “Big Data for Better Outcomes, Policy Innovation and Healthcare System Transformation (DOàIT)” project. The post holder will coordinate a range of diverse disease-specific projects within the programme, identify potential synergies and ensure quality and consistency of individual projects, in line with the overarching programme objectives.

 

Candidates will have significant experience in managing research projects, experience with EU funded projects would be desirable, however not essential. They will be able to demonstrate experience of coordinating diverse groups of organisations, and leading on the implementation of project objectives. Candidates will show strong interest in big data applications in health care or the use of real world evidence in the drug life cycle.
