Hellenic Observatory Administrator

 

Salary from £24,760 to £27,831 pa inclusive with potential to progress to £29,942 pa inclusive

 

This is a fixed term appointment for 12 months

 

 

The Hellenic Observatory is a research unit based in the LSE’s European Institute.

 

The Hellenic Observatory was set up in October 1996. Its aim is to promote the study of contemporary Greece and Cyprus via research-related activities, and a public events programme related to these.

 

Candidates should have

 

  • Extensive  experience in office administration 
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Experience of working in a busy office environment.
  • Experience in copy-editing and production of publications.
  • Good knowledge of Greek both written and spoken.
  • A first or second university degree in a relevant discipline such as the social sciences or humanities would be desirable.
