Learning Technology Systems Support Specialist

 

Salary from £34,736 to £42,019pa inclusive with potential to progress to £45,212 pa inclusive of London allowance

  

LSE is a cosmopolitan community in the centre of London focusing on the study of the social sciences. The School recognises that Technology Enhanced Learning (TEL) is increasingly significant and now wishes to recruit a Learning Technology Systems Support Specialist (Lecture Recording) to join an established and well regarded team of Learning Technologists and related specialists within our Learning Technology and Innovation (LTI) group.

 

This post will provide technical development and user support for the School's lecture recording and teaching media services.  The post holder will be responsible for maintaining the platforms associated with these services and will be the primary point of contact for staff and students for scheduling of recordings, and for technical support of services connected with lecture recording. The post holder will liaise with the Audio-Visual support team to ensure the continuity and quality of lecture recording services, and with colleagues in IMT to manage the integration with the School's timetable.  The post holder will also be responsible for developing and leading on training for users.

 

The successful candidate will have an undergraduate degree in a technology-related field or equivalent professional experience, working knowledge of SQL and Windows and Linux networking, and experience of maintaining and administering lecture recording services including Echo360 Active Learning Platform, Echo360 EchoSystem, or equivalent media streaming environment.
