Communications Manager

 

Salary from £35,999 to £43,360 pa inclusive of London allowance

 

This is a fixed term appointment for 12 months for maternity cover

 

 

The LSE Middle East Centre drives LSE's engagement with the Middle East and North Africa and provides a central hub for the wide range of research on the region carried out at LSE.

 

We are looking to hire an experienced Communications Manager to lead the Centre’s communications work and research impact. The postholder is responsible for managing the Centre’s publications, events, web presence and outreach work. The postholder line manages the Communications team and supervises the communications work of other staff in the Centre. This is a one-year maternity cover post, commencing in February 2019.

 

Candidates should have:

 

  • Extensive experience in outreach and communications;
  • Publishing skills;
  • Experience of events planning;
  • Experience of line management;
  • Keen interest in the Middle East.
