LSE Fellow in Human Geography

 

Salary from £34,736 to £42,019 pa inclusive of London allowance with potential to progress to £45,212 pa inclusive of London allowance

 

This is a fixed term appointment until the 30th September 2019

 

You will join one of the world’s best known human geography groups working on urbanisation, planning and development, in a Department which enjoys very strong international student demand across a wide range of graduate and undergraduate programmes.

 

The successful candidate will contribute to teaching in the Department on the BA in Geography, MSc Urbanisation and Development, and MSc Regional and Urban Planning Studies as well as maintaining their own research programme and contributing to the Department’s research seminars and meetings.  You will also participate in the School and wider Department activities.

 

Candidates will have:

·         A completed PhD in human geography or relevant subject by the post start date.

·         A developing research record and expertise in the field of human geography and in particular in gender and development, urbanisation and/or planning in the Global South. 

·         Excellent communication and presentation skills.

·         Some experience of university-level teaching.
