LSE Fellow in EU Law


Salary is competitive and not less than £34,156 pa (pro rata)

 

This is a fixed term appointment from 1 September 2017 to 31 August 2018

 

LSE’s European Institute teaches and researches processes of integration and fragmentation within Europe. Its research has been ranked first in the UK in last two national research exercises.

 

You will teach on the MSc in EU Politics, for example courses EU420 (European Law and Government) and EU421 (Policy-Making in the European Institute), EU435 (History and Theory of European Integration). You will act as Academic Adviser to MSc EU Politics students, undertake exam marking, and also perform such administrative duties as required by the Head of the European Institute.

 

You will have a completed or nearly completed PhD in EU Law or a related subject by 30 June 2017. You should have a very good knowledge of EU Law and Law, as well as a developing research record in EU Politics/Law. You will possess excellent written and oral communication skills and foster a positive learning environment for students.
