Coordinating Language Teacher (EAP)

 

Salary from £35,999 - £43,360 pa inclusive, with potential to progress to £46,617 pa inclusive of London allowance

 

This is an exciting, full time, opportunity to join an expanding team of professionals who are providing language support to a wide range of international students. This post involves teaching English for Academic Purposes (EAP), coordinating a departmental cluster and assisting with the development of language courses and materials. You will be expected to teach on our in-sessional and pre-sessional programmes.

 

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree or international equivalent, preferably within the Social Sciences; a recognised teaching diploma or PGCE; and knowledge and understanding of the HE sector in the UK. A Master’s degree or international equivalent in Education, Linguistics or a Social Science and knowledge and understanding of the BALEAP (TEAP) competencies would be desirable.
