Professor in Psychological and Behavioural Science
 

Salaries will be on the appropriate salary scale and will be commensurate with experience, taking into account pay equity within the Department.

 The salary scale starts at £87,919 per annum (pay award pending) and can be found on the LSE website

 

The Department of Psychological and Behavioural Science teaches and conducts cutting-edge research that is both based in and applied to the real world. We are looking for someone who is a world-leading specialist in any field of psychological and behavioural science, who can forge strong inter-disciplinary links across the school, in the UK and the rest of the world. The successful candidate will not only be an outstanding researcher, but also an inspirational teacher who will be a core part of the team that positions our Department as a leading global player in the field.

Candidates should have a proven and significant record of outstanding research, with an international reputation in Psychological and Behavioural Science and publications of the highest quality, with at least two world-leading publications since 2014, a track record in successfully bidding for external funding, and ability undertake research that has impact and engage in knowledge exchange. They should also have a significant track record of excellence in teaching Psychological and Behavioural Science at undergraduate and postgraduate level, with a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment for students. Candidates should have an established track record in providing leadership in advancing research and teaching and in departmental administration and strategic decision-making.
