Salary from £25,181 to £28,304 pa inclusive with potential to progress to £30,451 pa inclusive

The Human Resources Division provides advice and support to the School and its diverse customer base of circa 3,400 employees.

 
The HR Administrator is an integral role within the LSE, responsible for providing a high quality operational administration service to the School.

The Role

 

Your role will be responsible for providing a comprehensive and customer focused HR administration service to the School, by being the first point of contact for all customers and the HR Division. You will support the end to end recruitment processes for Academic and Professional Services staff to ensure a smooth on-boarding process, providing an excellent service to new starters at the School. You will provide advice and guidance to employees in relation to key School policies and contractual entitlements. You will be an efficient, proactive and well-organised individual who will support the School in all areas, including recruitment, on boarding for Academic and Professional Services staff and HR projects management. You will have an exceptional eye for detail and a good level of resilience. You will also be responsible for preparing recruitment committee packs Your role will involve liaising closely with payroll in relation to any employee changes ensuring that the shared HR and Payroll system is kept up to date and accurate.

 

What you will need to succeed

 

You will demonstrate a professional face of HR, with drive, energy and enthusiasm. The ability to work on your own initiative and manage your own workload is also essential in this role. The ideal candidate will be an experienced Administrator who has operated within a busy, fast-paced environment. You will have a proven experience of working in administration, with particular emphasis on accurate record keeping, data processing and HR systems. You will possess a high quality and pro-active service to all customers and ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

 

The post-holder will need to develop an excellent understanding of the School and its customer base.

You will have strong planning and organisational skills, be self-motivated and have a solution focussed ‘can do’ attitude. Providing a high standard of customer service is essential to the job.
