Assistant Professorial Lecturer in Environmental Geography
Salary is competitive and not less than £53,004 pa inclusive
We are looking to recruit an Assistant Professorial Lecturer in Environmental Geography to join a strong and growing group including environmental policy experts and environmental geographers in addition to environmental economists in the Department of Geography and Environment, one of the leading departments in the country as ranked in 2014 Research Excellent Framework, the 2017 QS World University Rankings for Geography and Area Studies and “The Guardian” UK University League Tables 2017.
Please note that this is an Education Career Track post. The appointee's work will focus on the delivery of outstanding teaching to students at the LSE, as detailed in the person specification.
Candidates should have: teaching and other relevant expertise in one of the following areas: physical geography, geoscience or ecology; teaching experience that covers the biophysical environment and human-biophysical interactions which could include interests in and the ability to organise and run initiatives to expand the Department’s provision of experiential learning for geography and environmental students.
