Deputy Departmental Manager

 

Salary from £35,432 to £42,860 inclusive with potential to progress to £46,117 pa inclusive of London allowance 

 

 

The Department of Geography & Environment is seeking to appoint a highly committed, innovative and experienced individual to act as the Deputy Departmental Manager to help deliver the strategic goals of the Department.  The position requires strategic thinking with a view to improving and implementing Departmental research and teaching policies and initiatives that align with that of the School as well as working with the Departmental Manager and Professional services team to deliver a world class educational experience to students. 

 

You must have a record of strong higher education administrative experience with exceptional written and oral communication skills.  Excellent spreadsheet and numerical skills and familiarity with UK university procedures are essential.
