Assistant Planning Officer (Policy and Review)
Salary from £34,736 to £42,019 pa inclusive with potential to progress to £45,212 pa inclusive of London allowance
The London School of Economics and Political Science is one of the foremost social science universities in the world. The Planning Division plays an integral role in supporting the School’s progress towards achieving its strategic objectives. We are recruiting an Assistant Planning Officer (Policy and Review) to support a range of work undertaken within the Planning Division, including: the provision of information; servicing the sub-groups of the Academic Planning and Resources Committee; supporting and servicing the School’s Annual Monitoring process; supporting review processes; resource allocation; and policy formation.
Successful candidates will have strong note taking skills, an eye for detail, and the ability to work as part of a team. Educated to degree level (or equivalent), candidates will have demonstrable administrative experience, preferably in the HE sector. Candidates must also have excellent IT, numeracy, written and oral communication skills, and experience managing their priorities in order to meet tight deadlines.
