We invite applications to work on a project on an exciting project on ‘Developing and Sustaining Inclusivity in the Curriculum at the LSE’. This is an internally funded project. The research will be used to inform practice and develop materials to support inclusive learning at the LSE.
The post holder will work closely with the project leader and will be expected to conduct an academic literature review and a sector wide policy and practice review of inclusive learning in H.E. The research will also involve qualitative interviewing and focus group facilitation and the post holder will be expected to analyse and code data and contribute to writing up results and developing materials that support inclusive learning at the LSE.
You will have, or be close to finishing, a PhD in sociology or a related discipline that has a focus on inequalities, preferably in HE and a wider interest in critical theories of ‘diversity’. You will be able to demonstrate training in and experience of qualitative research, and the ability to work with basic descriptive statistics. Good communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team are essential.
