Salary from £43,173 to £49,986 pa inclusive with potential to progress to £56,205 pa inclusive

  

The Department of Management provides a world class environment for multidisciplinary research on management issues as well as a deep insight into the functioning of the global business environment. Our objective is to be the premier management department in Europe and one of the top departments in the world in both teaching and research.

 

We are a large department, comprising an undergraduate programme, nine full-time MSc programmes and two executive programmes (the Executive Global MiM and the TRIUM MBA, run in collaboration with HEC and NYU).

 

The Department of Management seeks to appoint a senior, experienced and highly motivated individual to lead and manage the Department’s Programmes Team. The Programmes Team deliver all of the Department’s non-executive programmes. More information about our programmes is available at: www.lse.ac.uk/management/programmes.

 

You will work closely with the Department Manager and the Director of Programmes, and oversee the student lifecycle from application to alumni rollover. You will have strategic and financial responsibility for the Department’s taught programme portfolio and will act as a key interface between the Department and a wide range of academic and administrative staff across the School.

 

You must have previous relevant administrative experience, including experience of managing programme delivery, staff and budgets. Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills are essential.  Previous experience of working with academic staff is essential.

 

This is an exciting time to be joining the Department of Management as we embark on implementing ambitious plans to  our teaching portfolio over the coming years.
