The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) is one of the world’s leading universities, specialising in the full range of Social Sciences. Founded in 1895, LSE has an outstanding international reputation. It welcomes many students and faculty from overseas and is a leading voice in the global policy debate. This is an exceptional opportunity to join one of the UK’s leading Advancement offices and have a direct impact on fundraising activity in a growing team. The Prospect Research Officer will be responsible for identifying new prospects and compiling in-depth research on potential and existing donors and will play a central role in handling prospect information on LSE Advancement database. The successful candidate will work side-by-side with the major donor fundraisers, collaborating on various research projects to further the success of the School.

The successful applicant will have previous experience of either prospect research, major gift fundraising or researching high net worth individuals in the private sector. Candidates must be able to exhibit excellent analytical, IT, organisational and problem solving skills, as well as demonstrate exceptional written and verbal communication.
