Prospect Research Officer

 

Salary: £28,721 - £33,244 per annum inclusive, with potential to progress to £35,768 per annum inclusive. Appointments are usually made at the bottom of the salary scale.

This is an exceptional opportunity to join one of the UK’s leading Advancement offices and have a direct impact on fundraising activity in a growing team. It is an exciting time to be joining LSE as the school embarks on a new strategy to redevelop the core campus and as such, the prospect research team will be at the centre of identifying prospective supporters for a myriad of projects across the School, as well as working with fundraisers to establish robust pipelines of philanthropic support for now and the future.

 

The Prospect Research Officer will be responsible for identifying new prospects and compiling in-depth research on potential and existing donors and will play a central role in handling prospect information on LSE Advancement database. The successful candidate will work side-by-side with the major donor fundraisers, collaborating on various research projects to further the success of the School.

 

The successful applicant will have previous experience of either prospect research, major gift fundraising or researching high net worth individuals in the private sector. Candidates must be able to exhibit excellent analytical, IT, organisational and problem solving skills, as well as demonstrate exceptional written and verbal communication.
