The Role

Applications are invited for a Research Fellow to work on the EU-funded project Narrative Science under the direction of the principal investigator, Professor Mary S. Morgan.  This team project will investigate how, when, and why scientists use narratives to explain their work within their own communities (http://www.lse.ac.uk/economicHistory/Research/Home.aspx). The Research Fellow’s primary task will be to develop the project website, locate and create materials for it, and curate materials from the other team members, (including three Research Officers) on the use of narratives by scientists past and present.  The Fellow will participate as a research team member as well as supporting Professor Morgan in organising and managing the project.

Candidates must have a PhD, or an equivalent track record, in science communication, digital humanities, history of science, or a closely related field.  Experience of website development and the curation of website materials are required.
