LSE Fellow in Environment

 

Salary from £34,736 to £42,019 pa inclusive with potential to progress to £45,212 pa inclusive

 

Fixed-term for 17 months from March 2018

 

LSE Fellows contribute to the scholarship and intellectual life of the School by conducting teaching and research which will enhance the School’s reputation as a research-led teaching institution, with appropriate mentoring from department. You will contribute to teaching in the Department at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, as well as carrying out administrative duties.    

 

You will have a PhD in a relevant field of the environmental social sciences, or be close to completing one, by the post start date. In addition, you will have a very good knowledge of a field of environmental social science: in particular, the ability to teach environmental science & policy, environmental geography and/or global governance.  You will also have a developing research record in a field of environmental social science.

Relevant teaching experience including assessing courses at undergraduate and postgraduate level would be an advantage.  You must have the ability to demonstrate excellent communication and presentations skills and have the ability to foster an engaging and supportive learning environment for students.
