LSE Fellow

 

Salary from £34,156 to £41,317 pa inclusive

  

Fixed-term for two years from September 2017

 

The Department of Anthropology invites applications for an LSE Fellow in Social Anthropology. The Department has a strong international reputation and a long and distinguished history of leadership in the discipline. This will provide the Fellow with an ideal environment for starting his or her academic career.

 

The successful candidate will contribute to the lecturing, class teaching and tutoring of undergraduate students and possibly other areas of the Anthropology curriculum.

 

Candidates will need a PhD in Anthropology or with dissertation submitted for examination by 31 July 2017. Preference will be given to candidates in the early stages of developing an academic career. Prior university-level teaching experience and excellent communication skills are essential.

 

The post will start from 11 September 2017 or as soon as possible thereafter.
