Widening Participation Assistant

 

 

Salary from £24,760 to £27,831 pa inclusive with potential to progress to £29,942 pa inclusive

 

 

Working with on average 2,500 young people each year Widening Participation at LSE delivers a comprehensive Programme of activity to meet LSE’s commitments within the School’s Access Agreement and LSE Strategy 2020. The role of Widening Participation Assistant provides crucial support to the smooth running of the Team’s day-to-day work and the Widening Participation Programme. The vacancy arises as the result of an internal appointment to another role and is an exciting time to join the Team as widening participation goes through a period of development. Candidates should have:

·         General knowledge of UK education and widening participation issues

·         Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to understand and convey information in a clear and accurate manner

·         The ability to solve standard, day-to-day problems as they occur, following set standards and procedures

·         Willingness to work as part of a Team, maintaining excellent levels of service.
