Research Officer

 

Salary from £34,156- £41,317 pa inclusive with potential to progress to £44,456 pa inclusive

 

This is a fixed term appointment for ten months

 

The Law Department seeks to appoint a post-doctoral Research Officer whose research

experience has applications to biotechnology or biodiversity, intellectual property in particular

patent law, regulatory design, technology or innovation policy. The research officer will work on a

Horizon 2020 project on the Nagoya Protocol and Access to Genetic Resources. The Candidate

will work closely with Dr Siva Thambisetty, Associate Professor of Intellectual Property Law and PI

on the project. She is particularly interested in candidates with experience of quantitative or

qualitative socio-legal research methods.
