MSc Administrator

Salary from £28,241 - £32,689 pa inclusive with potential to progress to £35,170 pa inclusive

The Department of Social Policy at the London School of Economics and Political Science is a dynamic, innovative department located at the heart of the School. It is home to around 350 students and 30 faculty. It is the highest-ranked Social Policy Department in the UK for research and incorporates several internationally-renowned research units.

The Department requires an experienced professional administrator to work closely with faculty and professional services colleagues to ensure the effective delivery of our taught postgraduate programmes. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of the programmes, as well as for proactively contributing to strategic planning processes and participating in Department-wide activities.

Applicants must have substantial administrative experience in a similarly demanding and varied role, preferably in a student-facing academic environment.  A commitment to continuous review and improvement is essential, as is the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision. The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator and have strong problem-solving skills.

We offer an occupational pension scheme, generous annual leave and excellent training and development opportunities.
