Centre Manager

 

Salary from £34,156 to £41,317 pa inclusive with potential to progress to £44,456 pa inclusive of London allowance. Please note that we expect to appoint at the starting point of the salary band.

 

This is a fixed term appointment till July 2021 and is part time for 17.5 hours/ 2.5 days per week, with the future possibility of an increase in the number of days per week and the length of the contract, subject to funding.

 

 The Latin America and Caribbean Centre (LACC) is a research centre that serves as a focal point for LSE’s research and public engagement with Latin America and the Caribbean. Reporting to the Centre Director, the Centre Manager will have responsibility for the day-to-day management of the centre and for the administrative processes essential for the operation of the centre. The post holder will lead on the planning of the centre’s events and engagement programme and will be responsible for operational issues concerning finance and HR.

 

Candidates should have management experience, preferably in a Higher Education environment, significant experience of budget management and the ability to manage a varied workload and competing deadlines. Candidates should have an interest and knowledge on Latin American and Caribbean Affairs.
