Communications Coordinator

 

Salary from £31,029 to £35,635 pa inclusive with potential to progress to £38,283 pa inclusive of London allowance

 

This is a fixed term appointment for 12 months

 

 

The Middle East Centre produces world-leading research on the societies, politics and economies of the Middle East and North Africa. The Centre seeks to hire a Communications Coordinator to work on all aspects of the Centre’s communications, online presence (including developing a social media strategy) and designing publications. The post-holder will play a key role in regularly updating and improving the quality and reach of the Centre’s communications work and impact.

 

Candidates should have:

 

  • Strong design skills including InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Experience of editing and producing publications
  • Good understanding of using social media to build profile and influence
  • Knowledge of and keen interest in the field of Middle East studies
