Financial Planning and Analysis Manager
Salary from £53,204 to £61,301 pa inclusive with potential to progress to £68,119 pa inclusive of London allowance
This is a fixed term appointment for 12 months
This 12-month fixed-term post is within the Financial Planning and Analysis team, which is responsible for the LSE’s budget and financial planning processes and monthly management accounts deliverables.
The Finance Division seeks to appoint an ambitious and highly motivated individual with relevant experience and qualifications. The role is best suited to a talented finance professional, with the drive to improve processes, solve problems and deliver to deadlines. You will be a qualified accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA or equivalent) with audit experience or with demonstrable relevant experience in a similar role.
Candidates should have:
- Experience of working in the finance department of complex organisations
- Previous management accounting and financial analysis experience
- Ability to communicate financial issues in a straightforward way to non-financially trained staff
- Ability to work effectively with senior managers
- Experience of establishing and monitoring financial controls and procedures
- Strong organisational skills with a good eye for detail
