Head of Student Recruitment & Study Abroad (12-month Maternity Cover)

 

Salary from £59,670 to £69,092 pa inclusive with potential to progress to £76,562 pa inclusive of London allowance

 

 

The role

In this strategic leadership position, you’ll be leading our recently expanded Student Recruitment and Study Abroad team through an exciting period of development. Over the next 12 months, you’ll lead on implementation of our international strategy, including expansion into priority international markets for the school. Taking a data and intelligence led approach to recruitment activities, you’ll work with the team to innovate recruitment strategy and activity across UK and international student recruitment at all study levels. You’ll support the team to deliver a world-class study abroad programme and provide LSE students with high-quality mobility experiences.

Our new strategy sets out LSE’s increased commitment to attracting a truly global and diverse range of students, and we aim to deliver targeted student recruitment activities across a wider range of markets than ever before.

 

The Student Recruitment & Study Abroad team has primary responsibility for:

 

  • Student Recruitment – Delivery of activities that will achieve applications targets for Home and International recruitment in line with the School’s strategic objectives.

 

  • Study Abroad and Exchanges – Management of the School’s year-long study abroad programme (The General Course) and the GO LSE student exchange programme.

 

What we’re looking for

We are looking for someone with the ability to provide clear direction for the team and support them to deliver on strategic objectives. Candidates must have:

 

·         Experience of creating and delivering strategic and operational student recruitment plans

 

·         Experience of setting, working to and delivering on student recruitment targets and KPIs

 

·         In-depth knowledge of the operating environment for Home and/or International student recruitment

 

·         Experience of working with CRM systems to enhance business processes
