Planning Officer (League Tables)

Salary from £40,229 to £48,456 pa inclusive with potential to progress to £52,095 pa inclusive of London allowance

This is a fixed term appointment for two years

The London School of Economics and Political Science is one of the foremost social science universities in the world. The Planning Division is integral in supporting and monitoring the School’s progress towards achieving its strategic objectives. The Planning Officer (League Tables) supports a range of tasks undertaken across the School, primarily relating to the collection and analysis of data related to external rankings to inform strategic decision making.

Successful candidates will be experienced in the preparation of reports, papers and briefing materials preferably in the area of ranking analysis. Educated to degree level (or equivalent), candidates will have demonstrable experience in the manipulation and analysis of data from multiple sources in a variety of formats. Confident in the interpretation and presentation of analysis and insights, candidates will have an eye for detail and the ability to work as part of a team. Candidates must also have excellent IT, numeracy, written and verbal communication skills, and experience managing their priorities to meet tight deadlines.
