Events Administrator (CEMS Annual Events 2023)
Salary from £31,960 to £36,705 pa inclusive with potential to progress to £39,432 pa inclusive of London allowance
This is a fixed term appointment for one year to work on a specific project
A chance to assist in the administration and delivery of the CEMS Annual Events 2023, being hosted by the LSE Department of Management. In December 2023 we will welcome the CEMS Global Alliance’s 1300 graduates, as well as the Deans and senior faculty representatives from each of the 33 business schools. The week will include a series of meetings on campus, social and networking events and CEMS alumni and corporate engagement. The events will conclude with a graduation ceremony and reception for 3000 guests at ExCel London. The Annual Events 2023 will be used as an opportunity to showcase the LSE and bring together key corporate partners and alumni to help build long-lasting connections for successful future collaborationYou would be based in the CEMS Project Team which sits within the Department of Management.
Candidates should have:
· Experience of planning projects or events.
· Ability to learn new software platforms including EventMaker (Event Marketing Platform)
· Ability to prioritise tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
· Experience in communicating effectively with internal and external users at all levels, both verbally and in writing.
· Ability to use initiative to solve day to day queries and problems.
· Ability to work as part of a team and motivate other staff.
