Programme Coordinator, Kuwait Programme

 

Salary from £31,029 to £35,635 pa inclusive with potential to progress to £38,283 pa inclusive of London allowance

 

This is a fixed term appointment until 31 July 2023 with the possibility of extension

 

The Middle East Centre produces world-leading research on the societies, politics and economies of the Middle East and North Africa. The Centre seeks to hire an enthusiastic and proactive professional to coordinate the work of the Kuwait Programme, a major research programme involving multiple activities.

 

The postholder will provide comprehensive administration for all Kuwait Programme activities, including projects, finances, HR, and communications. The Programme Coordinator will manage the completion of research commitments and expand networks among the Kuwait research community. The postholder will also provide administrative support to other MEC projects.

 

Candidates should have professional experience of project and financial administration, an interest in the field of Middle East studies and experience of communications including networking, web editing and event organisation.
