Payments Assistant (part-time)

 

 

Pro rata salary from £13,708 to £15,303 pa inclusive with potential to progress to £16,384 pa inclusive of London allowance

 

The International Growth Centre aims to promote sustainable growth in developing countries by providing demand-led policy advice based on frontier research. The IGC directs a global network of world-leading researchers and in-country teams in Africa and South Asia. The IGC works closely with partner governments to generate high quality research and policy advice on key growth challenges

 

The Payments Assistant sits within the IGC Finance team, based in the IGC’s central London ‘hub.’ The role reports to the Head of IGC Financial Management and is responsible for responding to and resolving payment queries, as well as assisting in processing fee claims, expenses, invoices and tax payments across the organisation.  The role is part-time, based on 17.5 hours/week.

 

Candidates should have advanced Microsoft Excel skills, an ability to analyse payment data to identify anomalies and investigate issues, and an ability to work with a range of teams across a large and complex organisation.
