Head of Strategic Programme Delivery

This is a fixed term appointment for 3 years

Salary from £63,370 to £73,163 pa inclusive with potential to progress to £80,927 pa inclusive of London allowance

LSE’s Extended Education division delivers some of the School’s most commercially successful programmes, including Summer School and our expanding portfolio of Global Programmes. With over 9,500 students studying LSE-designed degrees in nearly 40 countries, we’re now embarking on an ambitious transformation that will revolutionise how the School delivers distance and online degree education.

We are seeking an experienced programme leader to drive the successful delivery of a major, multi-year transformation programme within the Extended Education portfolio. You’ll lead programme-wide planning, governance, and coordination across multiple workstreams, working closely with senior academic and professional services stakeholders. This is a pivotal role for someone who combines strategic thinking with hands-on delivery expertise in complex environments.

Candidates should have:

·         Proven experience in leading the delivery of complex, multi-workstream programmes in a large or matrixed organisation

·         Experience establishing and supporting programme governance structures, including board coordination and executive-level reporting

·         Ability to build and maintain productive relationships with senior academic and professional services stakeholders

·         Experience line-managing or matrix-managing project managers or similar delivery professionals
