Project Resource Planner

 

Salary from £36,647 to £44,140 pa inclusive with potential to progress to £47,456 pa inclusive of London allowance

 

LSE is a cosmopolitan community in the centre of London focusing on the study of the social sciences. Data and Technology Services is the School’s central technology department, responsible for core data and technology services across the School.

 

The Project Resource Planner will primarily liaise with the Business Partners, along with other Data and Technology colleagues to shape and maintain the technology demand portfolio. The successful candidate will contribute to optimising Data and Technology alignment and performance by being able to accurately define required effort and consumption for known demand.

 

The Project Resource Planner will be;

· leading, defining and constantly improving the resourcing planning input into the Data and Technology portfolio.

· collaborating with Data and Technology colleagues on the portfolio processes, with a focus on resource planning.

· arranging and collating the prioritisation of technology projects and deliverables through management of portfolio document(s).

· ensuring that the prioritised portfolio assets are also matched to assigned resources within the Data and Technology teams or through other partner sources.

 

The ideal candidate will have;

· experience of managing resource across multiple projects with competing specialist resource requirements.

· a high standard of written and verbal communication and the ability to inform audiences of all levels and experience of complex details and concepts.

· the ability to engage with senior management to present and gain approval for project change plans.

· experience of using workforce planning and management tools to build and manage project resource plans that meet demand forecasts
