LSE Fellow in Economics

 

Salary from £37,717 to £44,140 p.a. inclusive with potential to progress to £47,456 p.a. inclusive

 

This is a fixed term appointment for two years, starting from 16 August 2021,

with a possibility of extension for a further year

 

 

The Department of Economics seeks applications for a two-year LSE Fellowship in Economics, which has the potential to be extended for a further year subject to performance and funding availability.

 

The post holder will participate in teaching (up to 140 contact hours), research and undergraduate advising. LSE Fellows are encouraged to take full advantage of the Department’s vibrant research environment.

 

Candidates will have completed or be close to completing a PhD in Economics by the post start-date.  Candidates will also have a developing research record and demonstrate a very good knowledge of economics. Candidates should possess excellent written and oral communication skills and demonstrate excellent teaching abilities, including the ability to teach broadly in economics, the ability to work in close partnership with fellow teachers, including on a one-on-one basis and in small groups, and to provide effective support, as necessary.
