LSE Fellow in International Migration


Salary is competitive and not less than £36,647 pa (pro rata)

 

This is a fixed term appointment until at least 15 September 2021 (extension subject to funding)

 

Applications are invited for an LSE Fellowship in International Migration, to teach on the MSc in International Migration and Public Policy (IMPP) based in the European Institute and Departments of Government and Sociology. The IMPP programme provides a systematic approach to central controversies in the comparative analysis of public policy responses to immigration and migrant integration.

The successful candidate will contribute to teaching, research, and student engagement activities. You will act as Academic Mentor to students, undertake dissertation supervision, be involved in assessment marking, and perform administrative duties as required by the Head of Department, Programme Director, or Department Manager.

You will have an emerging and promising record of research and teaching in a disciplinary field related to international migration, and you will have a completed or nearly completed PhD in a relevant subject by 30 June 2020.

You will possess excellent written and oral communication skills and offer a commitment to high quality teaching and fostering a positive learning environment for students and a commitment to equality and diversity.
