LSE Fellow in Environmental Economics

 

Salary from £36,647 to £44,140 pa inclusive with potential to progress to £47,456 pa inclusive of London allowance

 

This is a fixed term appointment for 12 months, with the possibility of an extension of 12 months subject to funding

 

 

 The Department of Geography and Environment is seeking a full-time LSE Fellow in Environmental Economics.  The successful candidate will join one of the world’s leading geography and environment departments, which enjoys very strong international student demand across a wide range of graduate and undergraduate programmes.

 

The successful candidate will contribute to teaching in the Department at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, as well as carrying out administrative duties.

 

The successful candidate will have;

·         a PhD in economics, environmental or energy economics (or closely related field in economics) or be close to completing a PhD by the post start date.

·         A very good knowledge of environmental and resource, or energy economics; in particular, microeconomics and econometrics and their application to environmental problems.

·         A developing research record in environmental and/or resource economics, or energy economics. In addition, the successful candidate will have a relevant background and expertise in a field of environmental economics:

·         Relevant teaching and assessment experiences at undergraduate and postgraduate level.

Interviews will take place in London or via Skype in late January/early February. We will not be interviewing in Rotterdam or at the AEA.
