Salary is no less than £56,814 per annum inclusive of London allowance (pay award pending) and the salary scale can be found on the LSE website
This is a fixed term appointment for 4 years, with the possibility to extend (subject to funding)
The Grantham Research Institute on Climate Change and the Environment at LSE, in conjunction with the ESRC Centre for Climate Change Economics and Policy, seeks to appoint an Assistant Professorial Research Fellow to play a leadership role in its environmental economics research area.
The successful candidate will make leading contributions to research and engage actively with policy makers to become a thought-leader in the public debate on environmental and climate policy. They will have a completed or nearly completed PhD in Economics by the post start date, in Environmental Economics or a related discipline and a research focus on questions of the Net Zero transition, climate change mitigation or adaptation, or other areas of environmental policy. Candidates will also have a track record or trajectory of internationally excellent publications and a clear, well developed and viable strategy for future outstanding research that has the potential to result in world-leading publications.
