With ambitious plans for growth, we are building on the LSE’s global reputation for firstclass executive programmes, and we are looking for a proactive, organised individual to help us achieve our goals.

We are part of the Lifelong Learning division, a highly successful and commercially focused division that delivers LSE’s open enrolment and customised short courses, and online courses to senior working professionals.

The programmes form an integral part of LSE’s mission, enabling the School to widen its impact by delivering LSE’s world class research and teaching to a diverse audience. They also represent valuable revenue sources for the School, generating critical funds to invest in teaching and research activities.

As Programme Assistant, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for the delivery of:

  •  Oncampus open enrolment programmes that attract senior leaders worldwide from the private and public sectors and consistently earn excellent participant recommendations.
  •  Custom programmes which provide organisations across the globe with a tailored LSE executive learning experience.

The Programme Assistant plays a key role in ensuring the seamless delivery of high‑quality programmes that exceed the expectations of participants, faculty, and partners. This role combines strong planning and organisational capabilities with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and a commitment to outstanding customer service throughout the participant journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  •  Provide administrative support for the smooth delivery of Executive Education programmes, including course development, logistics, and evaluation.
  •  Coordinate and produce all course materials and prepare digital learning environments for each programme using Moodle.
  •  Act as a key point of contact across LSE for Executive Education, handling queries from participants, faculty, and internal and external stakeholders with professionalism and efficiency.

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining a high degree of accuracy.
  • Flexibility and willingness to be involved in a variety of ad-hoc projects as required.
  • A proactive approach to assessing, developing, and improving processes.

We offer an occupational pension scheme, generous annual leave, hybrid working and excellent training and development opportunities.
