 Catering Supervisor (LSE Catering)

 Salary from £26,208 to £29,519 pa inclusive with potential to progress to £31,186 pa inclusive of London allowance

LSE is the world’s leading social science institution, which attracts students from across the globe. LSE Catering manages restaurants, cafes, bars and shops across campus and halls of residence providing catering, retail and hospitality services to our staff and student community.

LSE Catering are looking for a Catering Supervisor to provide high quality service in our state of the art academic and teaching Centre Building (CBG) delivering hospitality and catering services for the area.

The post holder will provide excellent standards of customer service delivering high quality catering for our international staff, students, and high-profile external guests. The successful candidate will contribute towards providing a professional, distinctive, contemporary and innovative customer-focused service in line with the Residential and Catering Services strategy and assist the team in providing excellent service.

Candidates should be enthusiastic, positive, motivated, with great people skills and enjoy working within a team. They will be assisting with coaching and development of junior staff members to consistently deliver great service and high standards of food safety.  Candidates should also demonstrate flexibility, drive and a passion for good food and service.

Although this position is assigned to the Centre Building (CBG) and services for that area, all catering staff work flexibly and may be required to work in any of LSE Catering facilities.

Working hours are varied and may involve early mornings, evenings and weekends. We offer straight shifts over an average 35-hour week.
