Open Research Assistant
Salary from £33,558 to £38,541 pa inclusive with potential to progress to £41,404 pa inclusive of London allowance
This is a fixed term appointment until 31st March 2025
The Library of LSE is a National Research Library, supporting the research and teaching of LSE as well as social science research beyond the School. The Library is heavily involved in delivering LSE’s new research strategy, Research for the World, including championing open research practices in the social sciences.
This post is based in Research Support and will be primarily focused on the Library’s support for funders’ Open Access requirements. You will work across all aspects of Open Access, including Gold Open Access, monographs and the School’s institutional repositories, as well as supporting open research training and helping researchers to raise the profile of their research.
Candidates should have experience handling enquiries and delivering a user-centred service, including the ability to convey complex information clearly. Additionally, you will be able to exercise initiative within your own area of work and have an awareness of when to involve colleagues.
