LSE Fellow in International Political Economy (3 vacancies)
Salary from £37,197 to £44,802 pa inclusive with potential to progress to £48,168 pa inclusive of London allowance
These are fixed term appointment for 2 years
Applications are invited for three LSE Fellowships in International Political Economy based in the Department of International Relations to commence on 1 September 2022. Each Fellowship is a fixed-term appointment for two years.
The appointed person/s will contribute to research and teaching on international political economy in the International Relations Department at the LSE, including teaching on undergraduate and masters-level courses. A developing research record in International Political Economy and the ability to teach on introductory / core courses in International Political Economy as well as courses in at least one of the following areas is required:
1) Politics of Money in the World Economy (at UG and PGT level)
2) Global Environmental Politics (at UG and PGT level)
3) Global Business in International Relations (at PGT level)
Candidates should have:
- successfully completed, or be close to completing a PhD in international relations or related discipline, by the post start date;
- have a very good knowledge of international political economy;
- a developing research record on international political economy is required; a focus on one of the 3 areas noted above may be an advantage.
- excellent communication and presentation skills;
- the ability to work in close partnership with fellow teachers and to foster an engaging and supportive learning environment;
- and a commitment to equality and diversity.
Relevant teaching experience, experience of managing and contributing to course virtual learning environments, and experience in carrying out course administration are desirable.
