Access and Participation Delivery Officer
Salary from £36,513 to £41,565 pa (pro rata) inclusive with potential to progress to £44,468 pa (pro rata) inclusive of London allowance
Funding is available to support this position until July 2029 and is part time for 3 days per week.
The Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) team leads on initiatives that promote equality of opportunity across the School. This role supports the delivery of LSE’s Access and Participation Plan (APP), a key strategic priority.
You will support the Senior APP Delivery Manager and the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) team in coordinating and delivering activities that promote equality of opportunity for students. The post-holder will contribute to the delivery of the School’s Access and Participation Plan (APP) and support the achievement of strategic objectives within the LSE Shaping the World strategy.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support for APP governance groups, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, taking minutes, and tracking actions.
- Assist in collating and maintaining data for APP monitoring, evaluation, and reporting to internal committees and external bodies (e.g., OfS).
- Liaise with colleagues in Finance, Planning, Communications Academic Registrar’s divisions to support APP-related processes.
- Support student engagement activities, including collaboration with the LSE Students’ Union on APP-related projects.
Candidates should have:
- Familiarity with data handling (including financial data) and record-keeping.
- Knowledge of higher education environment or willingness to learn.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and manage competing deadlines with strong attention to detail.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively.
