Salary from £37,197 to £44,802 pa inclusive of London allowance with potential to progress to £48,168 pa

 

This is a fixed-term appointment for one year, starting in September 2022

 

The Department of Social Policy at LSE is the longest established in the UK and has received the highest possible rating in all Research Assessment Exercises carried out in the UK. The 2021 QS World University Rankings by Subject place the Department of Social Policy 3rd in the world.

 

The Department is seeking to appoint an LSE Fellow who is able to make an important contribution to its teaching and supervision, at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, and to its research. An LSE Fellow post presents an excellent starting point for an academic to gain teaching experience while developing their research career.

 

You must have relevant teaching experience at undergraduate and/or postgraduate levels. Teaching-related administrative experience would be an advantage. By the post’s start date, you will have completed or be close to obtaining a PhD in social policy or another area related to the needs of the post; and you will have a developing research record in social and public policy. You will provide teaching on several courses across the department, including core social policy courses.

(b) a curriculum vitae that includes details of your teaching experience and of your most important publications and working papers; and (c) a recent research paper that best represents your work.
