Salary from £40,229 to £48,456 pa inclusive of London allowance with potential to progress to £52,095 pa inclusive of London allowance

 

 

The LSE Eden Centre brings together educational, technological and developmental expertise to support the development of academic staff, enable curriculum enrichment and digital innovation at LSE in both face-to-face and online education. The centre works with academic and professional services colleagues across LSE and in partnership with students to enhance research-rich education in line with the priorities of the School’s Strategy, LSE 2030 and ‘Education for Global Impact’.

 

We are now recruiting to the role of Evaluation Manager (Education). This is a new role to support evaluation of education and student experience activities across the School. While based in the Eden Centre, the post-holder will work closely with senior stakeholders across LSE and colleagues with similar evaluation responsibilities across the School to ensure that the monitoring and evaluation of activities, programmes and initiatives taking place across LSE are coordinated and meet the strategic needs of the School, including for LSE’s education strategy, and regulatory frameworks such as TEF and APP. The post-holder will become part of LSE’s growing community of evaluation practitioners with opportunities to shaping the future of this area of work.

 

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate experience of evaluating the impact of activities using a range of quantitative and qualitative research and evaluation methods alongside an excellent understanding of impact evaluation types and the ability to design evaluation approaches. Excellent project management skills, a proven ability to use initiative and creativity when addressing difficult situations and the ability to develop effective working relationships with a range of stakeholders will help the post holder to excel in this role. Candidates must also be able to demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders, including senior colleagues.
